← All changes- The world is made again on the same seed: the Dark Zone had holes in its bedrock floor, and now bedrock lies under every layer.
- Seep sites stand as they look, and each tap has a casing stub on the ground above it: dig straight down under a stub to find its seep block.
- The scrubber is redrawn as a Create air handler and held as a block; bitumen is a calm matte tar, nothing like crude.
- Two server freezes are gone: a sulphur vent in a seep site, and a structure check that recomputed the whole world's noise for every candidate.
- The depot board, the goggles and the block reader say only what matters, and long messages go to chat instead of off the screen.
- A broken block throws chips of what it is made of.
The full list of changes01The ground
- Up to seven columns in ten in the deep layers had lava, tuff or terracotta at the bottom of the world; the zone's caves and its surface painting no longer reach the floor, and bedrock comes first.
- Surface structures are placed by the height of the ground alone, so some stand in slightly different places than before.
02Oil
- The derrick's legs are full girders to the ground and its platforms rest on something; a standing piece the ground cannot hold is left off whole.
- The wild throat's stub is open copper; the others are capped casings.
- An operator's oil deal refuses an unloaded seep instead of loading it.
03Blocks
- The scrubber: louvres over a dark intake, three filter cartridges, a lit status lamp, a copper side with a gauge.
- No block of ours smaller than a cube hides the ground under or beside it any more.
