Engineer's Goggles and the line above the hotbar no longer run off the screen: long lines wrap or go to chat.
The grease gun fills with a plain click, and it no longer empties a tank into nothing in creative mode.
Bare-hand click on your own wellhead now says why its seal is soft and when it will turn hard.
The survey notebook shows a progress bar while you write and tells you exactly why a report was not written.
The Oil tab shows the live market: who sells a drum and at what price, who buys, and when the next weekly report comes. The old coin and drum pictures are back.
The full list of changes
01Screens and messages
Every goggle line fits the screen at any interface size; explanations moved to the Shift tooltip.
Messages too long for the line above the hotbar now go to chat.
Holding right-click on a wellhead no longer floods the chat.
02Wellheads and tools
The grease gun fills from any tank of lubricant with a plain click and says when it is full or the tank holds no lubricant.
A bucket of lubricant on a wellhead is refused with a clear message instead of feeding 0 mB.
Your own wellhead tells you why its seal is soft: the seal is new, the person who set it is new on this world, or your team is over its limit, and when that ends. On a new world every seal stays soft for its first days.
03Survey notebook
A progress bar and a page-turn sound while you write; letting go early says the page was not written.
A failed report now says why: wrong chunk (stand by a pipe stub over the seep), a leaking room, a room still being measured, no room in your inventory, or another world.
Coming home with an unhanded survey report reminds you to hand it in.
04Oil and the market
Each drum on the Oil tab shows the cheapest offer and the best bid right now, next to the last sale.
Before the first weekly report the tab says when it will come.
The oil terminal says how many buckets it counted and why the rest were not counted.
The weekly oil price ignores trades between members of one team and trades by new accounts, and keeps every sale of the week, not only the last 64.
05Pictures
The old coin pictures by Malcolm Riley are back.
The old drum pictures are back, and each drum's tooltip says what is inside and how to fill or empty it.
