- Trains are the way to bring oil home. Oil loaded at the oil seeps counts when the whole train is back.
- The cutting torch has its own gasoline tank. It burns gasoline only while it cuts and shows the progress above the hotbar.
- Every text in the game was rewritten in plain words: item names, messages, the guide, the quest book and Ponder.
- The Oil tab shows the market right now, the oil brought home this week and what an hour of a train costs.
- New 3D grease gun and cutting torch, and a drum can be placed in the world as a block.
01Oil comes home by train
- When a whole train returns from the Dark Zone, the oil it loaded near oil seeps is counted to its owner.
- Drums in your pockets count the same way when you walk home.
- Oil your team took out in the last 4 weeks is subtracted. Moving the same oil back and forth counts nothing.
- A Create fluid tank holds 32 buckets per block instead of 8, so a tank car beats a car full of drums.
- The oil terminal no longer takes drums into your storage. It shows this week's oil and the share that came by train.
- New milestone: bring oil home on your own train.
02Cutting torch
- The torch carries its own gasoline tank, shown as a bar. Fill it under a spout or by clicking a tank of gasoline.
- A strong seal takes 30 minutes of cutting and about one drum of gasoline; a lost cut costs only the gasoline already burned.
- While you cut, the line above the hotbar shows the progress, the work left and when the cut will be lost. The time no longer slips when the server is slow.
- Keep the torch on the wellhead you started on; it can also be held in the off hand.
03Plain words everywhere
- Items got real-world names: Outpost Bed, Respawn Kit, Outpost Marker, Theodolite, Delivery Chest, Ventilator, Air Scrubber and others. Only the names changed.
- In Ukrainian a seep is now «нафтове джерело», and messages say «команда», «змастити ущільнення», «слабке / міцне ущільнення».
- The guide was rewritten: every page is short paragraphs that say what to do and which button to press; titles name the task.
- The quest book and the Ponder scenes were rewritten the same way. Your quest progress is kept.
04Oil tab and prices
- The Oil tab has three parts: the market now, oil brought home since the weekly report, and oil seeps and energy.
- Energy prices come from the weekly drum price. They show what an hour of a train and of an air scrubber costs, and a drum's worth in iron bars.
05Models and drums
- New 3D grease gun and cutting torch in the hand; the inventory keeps flat icons. The lit torch shows a glowing flame.
- Drums can be placed in the world and break back into the same drum, full or empty. They are decoration; pipes do not connect to them.
