- Update the pack: this version will not let an older client in.
- Four new contract terms: Escort, Feud, Crew articles and Public subscription.
- Expeditions into the Dark Zone get route sheets, calls for rescue, cairns and charts of marks.
- The Dark Zone's air now ebbs and floods on a public timetable, and herds cross the layers with predators behind them.
- A long list of crashes, lost coin, lag and server stalls is fixed.
01Contracts
- Escort: a fee that is paid only if a delivery in the same contract is met.
- Feud: until a date, a killing between the fighters of two sides writes no blood debt and no mark, only the score. Press Join feud to fight for your side.
- Crew articles: until a date, the earnings you choose are split equally between every party. Freight fees, catches, outpost sales, garrison fees or one good's sales can be chosen.
- Public subscription: anybody can back the work a contract promises; if it is kept, the builder is paid, otherwise every backer gets their coin back.
- Goal of the week: the server can set a shared target, and the milestone goes to everyone who helped reach it.
02Expeditions
- A route sheet says where you are going in the Dark Zone and when you will be back. If you are late, the people you name are reminded once.
- A call for rescue holds coin for whoever reaches you; only those who answer see your area.
- A cairn says one word — water, shelter, danger, path or ford — and puts it on the map of everyone who passes.
- A chart of marks copies the marks on your map onto paper, and whoever reads it gets them too.
03The Dark Zone
- Each layer's air ebbs and floods on a timetable anybody can read with /polis_atmos weather; over a whole tide it is no worse than before.
- Herds cross the layers on a weekly timetable, and their predators follow; a beast you tame, lead, ride or name becomes yours to keep.
- A running air scrubber is heard by the night: packs that come near a busy base are larger.
- A route lamp burns naphtha from a pipe and eases the dark on nerve along a road.
- A reaper is issued the reaper's uniform when they take a seat.
04Fixes
- A commissioned named blade no longer doubles its ingredients.
- Opening the Polis window right after joining no longer crashes the game.
- Disbanding a group no longer loses its deposits, orders, consignments or bounties.
- A window left open no longer counts as somebody playing.
- A Soul Star used in the Safe Zone no longer stalls the server.
- Several memory leaks and chunk loads that caused lag are gone, and a number of mods are updated.
