1. Version 0.24.0

   29 September 2026Breaks compatibility

   • A tap is held by a wellhead and a seal fed with lubricant; nobody owns a seep, and a tap is taken by cutting the seal, loudly, for half an hour.
   • Oil is heavy in every form: a full drum weighs a thousand and does not stack, and a loaded mule, chest boat or cart slows down. The road home is the railway and the pipe.
   • An oil terminal by the wall counts the oil that really came home, and only that oil counts for the haulers' roll.
   • A killing past the wall makes the killer a renegade who owes nothing: the hunt, the cells and the bounty stay, the fine does not.
   • Contracts gain a ceasefire and a guard; a well log is a crew's own witness, filed as paper at home.
   • Seep sites stand on the ground now, in four designs by layer; When Dungeons Arise and Immersive Armors are gone, Spartan Shields is in.

2. Version 0.23.0

   28 September 2026Breaks compatibility

   • A seep stands under an eternal flame: a tall ruined derrick with signal smoke, laid before anybody arrives.
   • Seeps are found, not stumbled on: the archive on the maps, survey maps in caches and a gas detector that smells sour gas.
   • A seep goes on the record only when somebody files a survey report; the first to file names it.
   • Oil sells by the drum, the market has an oil board, and contracts have presets for deliveries, carriage with a deposit, seep shares and survey sales.
   • Once a week the Heart breathes and the seeps flow double for two hours; each season the flow moves between a layer's seeps; a seep pumped hard draws the dead.
   • The web map now shows the Dark Zone out to Wall Maria, and the Safe Zone has common land nobody can title.

3. Version 0.22.0

   28 September 2026Breaks compatibility

   • The world was made again, on the same seed: the Safe Zone is humanity's last stronghold now, and nothing hostile stands in it.
   • Dungeons, arenas and camps all stand past the wall; no one lives in villages there, only their ruins.
   • Oil comes only from seeps: a few wells past the wall, infinite but slow, with a weekly limit. Whoever holds one pumps it.
   • Trains run on diesel or gasoline and nothing else.
   • Crude splits into five fractions; filters, better ammunition, grease and train tanks are made from them.
   • Past the Hush a scrubber burns fuel as well as filters.
